Management Team
Ron Linder, CEO
Ron joined Picom in June 2000 as CEO from Computer Associates Israel where he was responsible for products line; including sales, localizations and client support. He has substantial experience in managing computer-based organizational and financial projects for various industries. Ron holds an Industrial Engineering degree from University of New Haven and MBA from Bar Ilan University.
Mr. Evgeny Zion, Director of Product development
Evgeny is a co-designer and software architect of Picom. Prior thereto he was a Senior Technical Analyst at Royal Bank Dominion Securities in Toronto, Canada (1998-9); a systems and project management consultant in Israel (1996-1998) to major concerns such as Telrad Communications, Bank Leumi and Scitex, Israel; and a systems management programmer for Scitex Israel (1990-1996). He has multi-faceted computer skills on a broad range of operating systems. Evgeny is a graduate of Hadassah College in Jerusalem (1984) and numerous professional courses in the computer field.
Mr. Nir Elperin, CFO
Nir Elperin serves as CFO. He was for 4 years a Senior Financial and Information System Analyst for Ilanot-Batucha Investment House Ltd., one of Israel's leading investment firms. Prior thereto he was an Economist and Programmer for Economic Models Ltd., a leading Israeli macroeconomic research and large account valuations company. Nir is twice a cum laude graduate of Tel Aviv University with an M.B.A. in Finance in 1997 and a B.A. in Computer Science and Economics in 1994. Nir is a graduate of the PMD (2003) program at the Harvard Business School.
Mr. Gary Libfrand, Director of Professional services
Gary brings over 15 years of experience in the IT industry. Prior to joining Picom Software Systems, Gary served as senior consultant at IBM Israel where he was involved with many IT projects in various industries. Gary holds a B.S.c in software engineering from Uruguay University.
Mr. Nimrod Shapir, Director of Pre-sales
Nimrod Shapir, brings over 17 years of IT industry experience. Nimrod joined Picom Software Systems after nine years spent with HP as a Solution Architect and as a Project Manager. Prior to HP, Nimrod worked for about eight years in the banking industry, most of the time as the IT manager for the Private Banking of Paribas (Suisse) S.A. in Geneva.
Nimrod holds a Master degree in Economics from the Geneva University
